Cross Border Centre
Welcome to the Cross Border Centre for Community Development at Dundalk Institute of Technology.
The Centre has been established with support from the Department of Community Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs under the National Development Programme.
Since 2003 the Centre has operated a range of programmes in community development, community arts, community sports, ethnic minorities and has supported the development of a peace building academic programme in Borderlands Studies.
The Centre’s independent advisory board comprises representation from a range of national and locally-based organisations from throughout the island including NI Rural Community Network, National University of Ireland Maynooth, Centre for Peace Building, Area Development Management Ltd, Combat Poverty Agency, County Monaghan Network, Letterkenny Institute of Technology, Centre for Cross Border Studies and Dundalk Institute of Technology.For details on the upcoming Building Border Communities Seminar, click here.
